Tree Plantation Drive

1. I read in Gantar B.M. High School.

2. Our school is situated at Gantar in the Purba Bardhaman district.

3. On 5th June, on the occasion of World Environment Day, our school arranged a tree plantation program.

4. I along with my classmates joined the program.

5. Our honourable M.L.A was the chief guest.

6. At first, our Headmaster inaugurated the program by delivering a long speech about World Environment Day.

7. Then our chief guest also delivered a speech on the importance of trees.

8. A play was also staged about the importance of trees.

9. After That a rally was taken out by the students to aware the local people about tree plantation and their importance.

10. At the end of the rally every student is given saplings.

11. We all planted the saplings in our school playground.

12. We enjoyed the day very much and learned many things about planting trees.
