Once a crow stole a piece of meat from a butcher’s shop. He put the piece of meat in his beak and flew away to a nearby tree. He sat on a branch and was about to eat the meat. At this moment, a fox was passing under the tree. The fox saw the piece of meat and felt greedy. She wanted to get the gobbet. So, she thought of a plan. She began to flatter and praise the crow about his talent as a singer. The crow was clever enough to realize the fox’s ply. He kept the meat under his feet and started singing. Completely humbugged by the crow, the fox left the place.
