                                                    Sub: Problems faced by commuters due to reckless driving

Sir, 

Through your esteemed daily, I would like to vent out my concern about the reckless driving of public vehicles in our locality. Reckless driving of public vehicles such as autos, totos, buses, and trucks has made the lives of commuters as well as pedestrians risky and unbearable. It is high time drastic steps should be taken against such intoxicated drivings. The drivers of most of the vehicles are careless. They do not observe the traffic rules. Most of the drivers are illiterate and get their driving licenses by some unfair means. They are fond of overtaking and high speed which is a positive threat to the commuters as well as the pedestrians. It results in havoc and terrible accidents and costly lives are lost or people become handicapped.

 

I would therefore, on behalf of the commuters of the locality, request the authorities to deploy traffic personnel, control the speed level of the vehicles, and take rigid steps against the violators of the rules.
