Ans- The nose is important for us as it helps us in breathing.

Ans- Yes, the child in the poem likes her nose as when she looks into the mirror and sees her nose laughs and giggles happily.

Ans- It is usually kidney-shaped

Ans- It is very juicy so it has no sound.

Ans- It is very juicy and has a sweet flavour.

Ans- It smells sweet

Ans- It has an elongated shape


c. How does it feel?

Ans- Its skin feels very soft.


d. When you bite it what sound does it make?

Ans- It is very soft from the inside so it does not make any sound.


e. How does it taste?

Ans- It tastes more or less sweet, depending on the variety.

1. Do you know a fish breathes from its gills? Write two sentences about other animals which can breathe underwater.


Ans- Sharks, Lobsters, Shrimps, and crabs have the ability to breathe underwater on their own.


2. Punctuate the following passage.

Mother's father Neelam said I have got a five-engine I've got a fire engine what's this what's this called Mother somewhat confused by the noise I've got a five-engine mother come and see it.

3. Using a red pencil, choose and circle the things whose smell you like. Now with a blue pencil circle the things whose smell you do not like. Make five sentences like this-

         2. I do not like the smell of dirty shoes as it reminds me of dirt and its overuse.

         5. I like the smell of marigold as it reminds me of its medicinal value.

         6. I like the smell of soap as it reminds me of cleanliness.
