Ans- The poet feels that the nose is a funny thing as it sticks out of the face as a handle.

Ans- The nose is important for us as it helps us in breathing.



3. Does the child in the poem like her nose? Why do you think so?


Ans- Yes, the child in the poem likes her nose as when she looks into the mirror and sees her nose laughs and giggles happily.

Ans-It smells lovely and sweet

Ans- It is very juicy so it has no sound.

Ans- It is very juicy and has a sweet flavour.

Ans- Its skin feels very soft.


d. When you bite it what sound does it make?

Ans- It is very soft from the inside so it does not make any sound.

Ans- It tastes more or less sweet, depending on the variety.

2. Punctuate the following passage.

3. Using a red pencil, choose and circle the things whose smell you like. Now with a blue pencil circle the things whose smell you do not like. Make five sentences like this-
