Rabindranath Tagore

Rabindranath Tagore was born on 8th May 1861. He did not enjoy formal schooling. He was taught at home by private tutors. His mathematics teacher was Aghor Babu. Tagore used to play in the verandah with sticks. He played the role of a teacher and the railings were his students. Rabindranath Tagore started writing poems at a very young age. He is one of the greatest poets in the world.
