Ans - Kepler was feeling unwell because of the difference in weight. On Earth, he weighed six times his normal weight.

d. What led his father to help Kepler as they landed?

Ans - Kepler was struggling with his safety straps. So, his father leaned over to help him.

According to Kepler’s father, the differences between Earth and Moon can be resolved in a friendly manner with a clear understanding of each other’s problems.

c. How is Kepler’s father attached to the Moon ?

Though all his cultural ties are with Earth, Kepler’s father’s present and future are associated with the Moon. It is the Moon where his son was born and his wife was buried and his work is also on the Moon. So he considers Moon to be his home.

d. Why did Kepler feel that earth would certainly be fun ?

Kepler thought that Earth would certainly be fun because for the first time he walked without a space-suit. Also there was an abundance of water and oxygen on Earth.

Last night I met a visitor from another planet at the park. He looked like a giant blue fish with one eye, two wings and four arms. He said that he came to Earth to learn about our culture and history. He was very different from me in many ways, such as his appearance, his voice, and abilities. He could fly, read minds, and change colours. He had a special power of invisibility. I felt amazed and curious about him. We had a friendly chat and exchanged some gifts. It was an unforgettable experience. 

10.(b). Write a story in about sixty words using the following hints :


a sailor and his friends - landed on an island-started cooking-island shook-the island actually a huge sea - creature in reality - sailor and his friends fled to the ship

Once there lived a sailor in a village. He used to travel here and there through the ocean. One day he decided to have a picnic with his friends. So they started their journey to a new location. After two days, they saw an island totally without trees. They anchored their ship and landed on the island. They lit a fire and started cooking. Suddenly the island shook and they understood that it was not an island, it was a giant creature. They got frightened and fled from there immediately.
