WATER CYCLE

Write a paragraph within 100 words on the water cycle, using the following flow chart :

Hints: Water evaporates from water bodies - rises as vapour - gets heavier - condenses, forms clouds-falls to earth as rain.

The ‘Water Cycle’ or ‘Hydrologic’ is a continuous process. Water evaporates, travels into the air, becomes part of a cloud, falls to earth as precipitation, and then evaporates again. In this cycle, first water evaporates from different water sources (pond, river, ocean) and goes higher. It rises higher into the upper atmosphere in the form of vapour. The higher it soars higher it comes in contact with the coldest atmosphere and gradually forms clouds. In course of time, the cloud becomes colder again and leads to the formation of droplets. The droplets while floating in the sky get combined with other droplets gaining in size and weight. Now they can't float in the upper atmosphere. They fall on the earth as rain. This repeats again and again in a never-ending cycle. Water keeps moving and changing from a solid to a liquid to gas over and over again.
